Day 1 Hanoi - Ngoc Vung (Gem) island
08.00 Travel from Hanoi to Van Don island.12.00 Check-in hotel, have lunch at Phan Tuyet restaurant (Cai Rong town)
15.00 During the afternoon, visit Cai Rong Port - Cap Tien Temple
- The Festival of Cap Tien Temple relic (in Dong Xa commune, Van Don district) opened on the eighth day of the Lunar New Year (Jan. 30th). On this occasion, a Tree Planting Ceremony was launched to show eternal gratitude to the great Uncle Ho. The Opening and Tree Planting ceremonies were attended by representative leaders of district, relevant sectors and organizations within the district and more than 1000 travelers coming from different parts of the country. It is estimated that there have been over 15,000 tourist arrivals to Cap Tien Temple since the 29th of the 12th lunar month to the eighth day of the Lunar New Year.

Day 2 Ngoc Vung island
07.00 From Cai Rong port travel to Ngoc Vung island by timber ship (2h30')

- Ngoc Vung Island (Gem Island) is a well-known tourist attraction lying between Net Islet and Phuong Hoang (Phoenix) Island, in Van Don District. Viewed from above, Ngoc Vung looks like a beautiful velvet handkerchief with exquisite white edgings, floating on the water surface. Ngoc Vung Island covers an area of 40 square km with 2 km long white sand beach. Ngoc Vung island has a sandy and beautiful beach. With a narrow slope and covered backside by a large forest, Ngoc Vung is one of the offshore beaches which are still kept pristine and unspoilt, located away from residential area thus helps keeping its clear environment. Currently, a Resort Project is being inaugurated by Construction Joint Stock Company totally 15 million USD - In the near future, the beach of Ngoc Vung island will be amazing and more attractive to visitors. Free sea-bath in the afternoon.

Day 3 Ngoc Vung island - Van Don
Free sight-seeing time in the morning. 12.00 Have lunch and rest at hotel. Free sea-bathing time in the afternoon. 18.30 Have dinner and rest at hotel.

Day 4 Van Don town - Hanoi
07.00 Travel back to Cai Rong Port (Van Don) by ship 12.00 Check-out hotel, then have lunch on Van Don bridge 2 floating restaurant (in front of Cap Tien Temple) - Van Don Town.
Note: (From Cai Rong Port tourists can choose to privately hire boat to visit the islands landscape within Bai Tu Long Bay suitable to tourists' time).
14.00 From Van Don return to Hanoi (220km). 19.00 Arrive in Hanoi. Car will pick you up to the departure location.
